Drain and Gain – Stephen C. Nuttall & Jacob Tekiela

Drain & Gain is a project conceived by Stephen C. Nuttall and Jacob Tekiela, they are looking at the brain and how it can communicate through illustration, and they need your help.

This first part of their project sees them collating information and data using motion capture and EEG machines that read facial expressions, brain activity and will track emotional triggers which will then be used in the next part of the project to control animations using emotions.

They need you at Manchester Central Library where you assist them so their project, by monitoring your mental and physical states whilst you produce artwork.

ARTISTS: Stephen C. Nuttall and Jacob Tekiela

Stephen and Jacob will hold a workshop around the project on 11th December. Find out more here

Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
